Our Mission

The Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network (DVEN) is a program of the Cancer Journeys Foundation (CJF). Robert Hess, a 90% combat disabled Army veteran, founded the DVEN to provide America’s disabled veterans with access to the information and support they need to access Department of Veterans Affairs resources and connect with legitimate veteran organizations that provide genuine support to disabled veterans. Robert is a Vietnam Agent Orange casualty and has personal experience with the challenges veterans face in getting their lives back on track and accessing available resources.
